The European largest operational solar farm is Mula Photovoltaic Power Plant Spain, with a total installed capacity of 494MW, built by ACS, a  subsidiary of Cobra, in 2019. However, the title will not last for long as another Spanish solar power plant, the Franciso Pizarro Plant, is under construction with a total installed capacity of 590MW  and 1.7 million solar modules, announced by Iberdrola. This paper aims to provide a statistics - based insight about the latest scenario of large - scale solar, unsubsidized solar, floating solar, and battery storage projects development in Europe.
